How it works

Our vehicle shipping API is based on three simple steps:

1. The shipper securely authenticates to retrieve rates and book their shipment
2. Shippers receive instant rates based on the vehicle make, model and year.
3. Shippers accept their rate and book their shipment.

Once booked, your service provider will contact you to discuss any pertinent details with your shipment, as well as to provide more detail on your shipping experience. Once your shipment is on the road, you can receive tracking statuses and location data directly via our API to display on your site.

What vehicles am I able to ship?

Our CLT API supports instant rates for most makes and models from 1981 to the current year. For the exact values, you can leverage our vehicle lookup tables via API as detailed on our reference page.

Does my vehicle go to the uShip marketplace?

While you can create listings for vehicles via the Listings API, a great feature of the CLT API is the instant rates and easily bookable shipments. When using our Single Vendor endpoint, you are able to receive great rates and a quality experience without needing to wait on auctions to close or delays between carrier response time. Leveraging uShip Logistics, you can have fewer trade-offs, better tracking, and peace of mind that your shipment is in good hands.
